Jessica Borker, LMSW

Jessica Borker, LMSW, specializes in working with young adults in helping them overcome challenges, navigate relationships, and develop strategies to live the life they want to live.

Jessica focuses on getting to know her clients beyond the surface. She takes pride in her ability to build trust with each client, developing a meaningful connection that allows for vulnerability and self-reflection, without fear of judgement.

Through extensive training in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Training, and Trauma-Informed Care, Jessica is able to draw on and integrate different therapeutic modalities in order to meet the unique needs of her clients.

Approach

Jessica’s approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. She works hand-in-hand with her clients to empower them in identifying their strengths and skills while developing recognition surrounding thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are no longer serving them.

She prioritizes building an environment where her clients can show up as who they, however they are. Whether there are areas clients are feeling stuck in or frustrations they want to talk through, the atmosphere she create is one without any judgment or pressure and one where clients can feel safe and valued.

By listening and truly understanding, Jessica is able to work with her clients in developing different insights into themselves, their relationships, and the way they show up in the world.
